Reminders...

Dear Mom,

Hi! So, you know how you would always call me and say "guess what I just got and it reminds me of you?!" ... I can not go through one day without seeing things that remind me of you... Yesterday, we were at the grocery store and went down the snack aisle... I used to call you EVERY TIME i went down that aisle and ask what the new snacks were and you'd tell me "ew, it's gross, don't get it" or "OH IT'S SO GOOD best thing ever!" So I'd get it. And when I got home, Nathan would say "Really, babe? more snacks?" yes, because my mom knew best :) I was seriously spending a fortune on new junk food you'd tell me about! I also miss you bringing home "sale candy" after every holiday. .... Today, I was watching Chopped on Food Network and that's the show you were watching when I left you at the hospital. Every time I cook, I want to call you to ask what you would do to make it taste better or even how to cook it! I have so many pajamas and clothes that were yours or ones we had matching and I can't wear anything without you popping in my head. Every time I look at my phone, your picture is on my background and I smile. Its my favorite picture of us :) I miss getting chocolate turnovers and beef n cheddars from Arbys with you. Chocolate milkshakes from Dairy Queen. Double cheeseburgers and sweet tea from McDonald's. Salad bar and sliders from Ruby Tuesday. Cheddar and potato soup from Bob Evans (which was the last meal we had together in the hospital.) I miss you yelling at me in the line for Chick Fil A because it was so long but that's what we really wanted! And out of all these things that remind me of you, Noah and Mya are my favorite. Mya is simple, she has your middle name. Noah, he would always get on the phone with you and you'd say "how's Nana's little Bear?" They remind me of you more than anything. The list goes on and on so everyday I'll try and posy something that reminds me of you.. I love you, Mommy.
